Superslick.org was purchased on 14 June 2006 and houses 200 GB (used to be 20 GB) of space and 1 TB of traffic per month. I also have 3000 email accounts, unlimited domains and subdomains hosted, but I only have a limit of 75 users.. I currently do not had any problems with the hosting and the free domain name makes everything easy for me.

Both the name and hosting plan was purchased at DreamHost.com and chosen for the one-year payment status withouth setup fee.

THE NAME

So what's behind this name? It's quite simple, I wanted a name that had a particular  reference towards my favourite RPG games Final Fantasy. I made up with lot's of cool names, but surely knew it had to end with .org, because I've heard that they are the best and friendly using domains on the net. Like I just said I had a lot of names in mind and it was so difficult in the end to actually choose one, funnier than that Superslick.org wasn't even listed with them.

Fujin.org was a close call, because it was a character from Final Fantasy VIII, my favourite part of the games and the one that got me into RPG in the first place. I also ended up with Valkyrie.nu for a while, but .nu was way to expensieve so that didn't last long. Purity-Arrow.org was another choice after Kagome's attack in the Inuyasha series.

After looking through my Strategy Guides for about the tenth time I came upon the guide of Final Fantasy IX at the items. Superslick came to mind, remembring this is a very rare and unique item that you can only obtain through a certain Moogle sidequest. Although, you needed to use this item for completion, so in the end you lost the item, alteast that's what I remember.

I became pretty fond of the name, so here we are...

THE NETWORK

Each domain needs a specific network name, not everyone does it and I sometimes wonder why I do it myself. A network name has a specific meaning behind the actual domain name, but mind doesn't...

I chooce this name because it is part of one of my favourite songs called Cherish, sang by Arashiro Beni. I was actually listening to this one song when I was thinking about a good network name. No questions asked!
